I believe the 97 combined PV/AHS or the 95 combined team would beat UVa-Wise, or at least gave them a great game.

The local NAIA and NCAA Division II schools aren't that much of a step up sportswise.

Yes it is......and by a good margen to boot......In the PV senerio Would Jones have been the best player on the field? Probably but the game would have still been over before halftime becouse position by position the Collage team would be Bigger,Faster , Stronger and just better

LOL Still STRONGLY disagree Jones is a no brainer however just look at a situation like Robbins the all everything PV QB who was the best QB to ever come out of PV (Yes Duncon was good but he was no Robbins) but could not crack the UVA-Wise starting lineup till his Sr year

Just from personal experience but when I got to Emory & Henry instead of having 5-10 players who could play in HS you had 120 that could play..... I have to agree with Counts on this one, even though those teams were amazing I don't think they would have contended with Emory, which is a small D-III school. Granted in the late 90's E&H was pretty impressive.

Well you have to remember that Brad spent time at WKU and was behind the best QB in UVa-Wise history. Hippeard holds every big time record up there.

Now I know you are on crack...If Duncan had stood back there and thrown 45 passes a game (he only threw MAYBE 10-15 times per game), he would have blown Brad's numbers out of the water. I guess an All-State Selection and 2 State Titles isn't as good as passing for 3,000 yards on 500 attempts. To each his own I guess..but I put Duncan AND Blagg over Brad Robbins.
